Celebrate

We have had a lot to celebrate this week in our house

We are beyond elated at this news

and I am so so so proud of Blake for landing this internship.

Anadrako is an amazing company

and we are hopeful that he will enjoy his summer with them

and learn a lot.

We had a little celebration between

his classes on Monday when he found out

the fantastic news!!

Okay,

so here are the facts:

1. Anadarko is an amazing company

who will have one of the most fabulous interns

in their Vernal, Utah field office this summer!

2. He chose Vernal, Utah

(yes, you read that correctly, chose)

because he was told that it is one of the top field offices

where he has the capability to learn the absolute most

although it is 15.5 hours from Lubbock :(

3. He will be there for 3 full months

and no I am not going with him

so if anyone would like to come and visit me in Lubbock

PLEASE come :)

4. I am SO SO SO SO proud of him

and he is pretty darn proud of himself, as he should be

5. PE companies typically only hire out of their internship pools

meaning you must intern with them one summer

in order to be considered for hire after graduation

6. He can now focus 100% on his grades

interviews and tests in the last 2 weeks has been tough, to say the least

This journey thus far has definitely not been easy

but with news like this

it makes it totally worth it!!

We thank everyone for their
