Moab, Utah - Arches National Park

We knew we wanted to go to Moab before we left this summer
and had originally planned to go on the way back to Lubbock.

But considering we are out numbered
people to animals these days,
we decided to make a day trip of it
and leave the animals at home
(minus RHETT cause he goes everywhere!)

We left at 8:30 Saturday morning
and picked up Cody, the other intern.
It was a 4.5 hour drive so we pulled up around lunch time
and immediately got to hiking.

Our longest hike was to the Delicate Arch
but it was totally worth it!
(that is the Arch on the Utah license plates)

All the rocks were breathtaking and
very impressive.

We left to head back to Vernal around 6.
It was a long, hot day but I am glad we went.

The only place in Utah I plan to ever return too
is Park City to ski!!
