13 weeks old and growing

The pups are out of control 

on many different fronts. 

They are growing like weeds 

and their little personalities are really starting to shine! 

They have each had 3 rounds of puppy shots 

so we started taking them on walks down the canal

LEASH FREE! 

We thought this would be the best way to teach them commands, 

how to listen 

and the consequences of not listening 

and so far, so good;

althought they do need to improve a bit 

but they're only 13 weeks, right?!?  

Run to the canal on leash pulling Dad - check 

Sit to get leash off - sometimes check 

(Boone is so ready to go, bless his bones, he can't barely sit still long enough; 

Crockett could sit all day long) 

Run up and down the canal chasing any and everything & run in and out of the water - check

Eat any and everything we can find - check 

Stop and wait when we yell wait - double check!!! 

Pass out when we get home and sleep all night long - check

We are getting there..........

Crockett (below)

has become quite vocal recently. 

He "talks" to us non-stop. 

He is not crazy about getting wet 

(apparanlty a true Brittney gene)

and would be perfectly content to just sit in our lap all day. 

He enjoys a good nap and 

takes after his momma for sure. 

 Boone is still growing slightly slower than Crockett

but is definitely catching up. 

He is a true pointer. 

We can't keep him out of the water 

and he is on point the entire time we are on walks. 

He is very independent 

and has made a complete 180 from when we brought them home. 

They play all day together... 

And this is the end result...

And just because he hasn't gotten any love this summer 

and I can't wait to see him in 3 weeks.........
